VINYASA 

Vinyasa means flow. During this class our functional movement specialist will guide you through a series of postures accompanied by regulated breathing and awareness techniques. The dynamic movement, breath, and proper alignment cues build strength, flexibility, and a deeper mind, body connection. All levels of experience are welcome.

Props used: Occasionally we use blocks, bolsters, and straps. (We offer these props in clinic for your use or you can bring your own.)

YIN

The purpose of Yin is deep tissue release. In this class you will be gently guided by our functional movement specialist through a slow paced practice focusing on areas such as hips, side body, back and shoulders.  Most of the poses are done while seated or lying down and are held in stillness for 1-5 mins. The deep tissue opening allows more space, flexibility, release, and fosters deep relaxation and connection to self. All levels are welcome.

Props used: 1 bolster, 2 blocks, 1 strap, 1 blanket (We offer these props in clinic for your use or you can bring your own.)

BARRE 

Barre is a form of isometric strength building movement using muscle isolation techniques and optimum postural alignment. Each barre class is guided by a functional movement specialist that will guide you through movements that deeply isolate and are done in proper alignment to produce a more immediate result in a safe way. The classes are a blend of core activation, glute strengtheners, and upper body movements done with high rep, and a small range of motion. All levels are welcome.

Props used: 2- 3lb weights, 1 exercise band, 1 pilates strap, 1 pilates ball (We offer these props in clinic for your use or you can bring your own.)

FASCIA FLOW  

Our fascia releasing class is guided by a functional movement specialist. This is a deep tissue 'remolding' flow. You will be guided through a series of Vinyasa poses accompanied by sequences of dynamic, static, and ballistic movements that target your deep connective tissues throughout your whole body and when done consistently- significantly increases your flexibility and remolds your fascia. These movements combined with breath and proper alignment cues not only build strength and flexibility, but create a deep rebalancing and healing opportunity for your mind and body. All levels are welcome.

PRANIC HEALING - by appointment only 

Pranic healing is a highly evolved and tested system of energy medicine that utilizes prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes. It is a simple yet powerful and effective system of no-touch energy healing and is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air, and ground to address physical and emotional imbalances.

REIKI HEALING - by appointment only 

Reiki healing is a soft and and gentle modality of energy healing rooted in ancient Japanese traditions where the practitioner directs the flow of prana to promote emotional and physical healing. It is a simple yet powerful and effective system of no-touch energy healing and is based on the fundamental principles that the body is a self-repairing living entity that possesses the ability to heal itself and that the healing process is accelerated by increasing this life force that is readily available from the sun, air, and ground to address physical and emotional imbalances.

HATHA (26 + 2) - Currently not available 

Hatha is another style of yoga and does not contain the 'Vinyasa' sequence. Instead this class is composed of the same 26 postures and 2 breathing techniques each time it is taught, which makes it a great class to monitor your progress over time. The main focus of this class is to strengthen the spine, but it will also improve overall flexibility and assist the function of your circulatory system. The combination of these postures, breathing techniques, and awarness cues will aid in a deeper mind, body connection as well. All levels of experience are welcome.
